LG Smart TV: Online Manual

You can schedule your Smart TV to record programs while you are away.

You can schedule Time Machine II to record or switch to a program at a certain time.

You cannot schedule a recording time within two minutes of the current time.
If you do not have access to an electronic program guide (EPG), you cannot use the Select schedule by program function.

The select schedule by program function schedules your Smart TV to switch to or record a specific program.

To use the Select schedule by program function, perform the following steps:

From the current screen, press the Q.Menu () button on the Magic Remote Control to display the Screen Remote.
Select on the Screen Remote to display the Progress Bar.
On the Progress Bar, select Schedule to open the schedule recording window.
Select Select schedule by program.
On the EPG screen, select a program.
Select the desired Schedule function.
- Remind: Schedules the TV to turn to the program when it comes on.
- Record: Records the program. If you select the current program, recording starts immediately.
- Advanced Schedule: Selects a day for repetition, time for recording, and a time for watching the program.

The manual timer function sets the date, time, and channel to record or watch.

To use the Manual Timer to schedule recording or watching, perform the following steps:

From the current screen, press the Q.Menu () button on the Magic Remote Control to display the Screen Remote.
Select on the Screen Remote to display the Progress Bar.
On the Progress Bar, select Schedule to open the schedule recording window.
Select Manual Timer.
Select a date.
Select a day for repetition.
- If you do not want to record or watch the program repeatedly, set it to Once.
Select the start and end time.
Select a channel to finish scheduling.
- You can search for channels or select them from the list.

You can view your recording and watching schedule and modify or delete entries on the schedule list.

From the current screen, press the Q.Menu () button on the Magic Remote Control to display the Screen Remote.
Select on the Screen Remote to display the Progress Bar.
On the Progress Bar, select Schedule List to open your schedule.
Select a list to view from the categories on the left side of the screen.
- Scheduled Record List: Displays a list of programs to record.
- Scheduled Watch List: Displays a list of programs to watch.
Select the schedule entry to open the edit and delete schedule entries window.
- Modify: Modifies the date, start and end time, and repetition info of a reserved item.
- Delete: Deletes the schedule entry.
