Internet search

You can enter keywords directly at the search engine or in the address bar at the top of the web browser to perform a search. From the Smart TV screen, you can use the QWERTY keyboard or voice recognition function to enter a keyword.

  • You can enter a keyword in the address bar at the top of the web browser to carry out a search using the default search engine of the web browser.

  • You can change the default search engine in > Settings.

Searching with the QWERTY Keyboard

To use the QWERTY keyboard to search for keywords, perform the following steps:

  1. Select Smart Home () > Internet.

  2. Go to a search engine.

  3. Select the search field to display the QWERTY keyboard at the bottom of the screen.

  4. Use the QWERTY keyboard to enter a keyword in the search field.

  5. Select the search button of the search engine to open the search results screen.

    • The Search button may differ based on the search engine.

Searching with the Voice Recognition Function

To use the voice recognition for Internet searches, perform the following steps:

  1. Select Smart Home () > Internet.

  2. Go to a search engine.

  3. Select the search field to display the QWERTY keyboard at the bottom of the screen.

  4. Select on the QWERTY keyboard or, with the QWERTY keyboard displayed, press the Voice Recognition () button on the Magic Remote Control.

  5. Say a keyword into the Magic Remote Control to show the voice recognition results.

    • If there is only one voice recognition result, it is automatically entered into the search field.

  6. Select the desired keyword from the voice recognition results.

    • If the desired keyword does not appear, select Retry and say the keyword again.

  7. Select a keyword from the voice recognition results to enter it in the search field.

  8. Select the search button of the search engine to open the search results screen.

    • The Search button may differ based on the search engine.

You can also select at the top of the web browser to use the voice recognition feature.
