You can use Smart TV to surf the web or access various web features. You can also surf the web while you watch TV.

To use the Internet, you must connect your Smart TV to a network.

Using the Internet

You can use the Magic Remote Control to surf the Internet.

  • Rotate the Wheel (OK) button on the Magic Remote Control forward or backward to scroll up or down on a webpage.

  • You can use the Magic Remote Control's Pattern Gesture to zoom in or out of a website. To use the Pattern Gesture, refer to the Using Pattern Gestures guide under Magic Remote Control.

The icons at the top of the web browser perform the following functions:

Adds the page to the Bookmarks bar.

Activates voice search.

Refreshes the webpage.

Zooms in or out of the webpage.

  • : Zooms in on the webpage.

  • : Zooms out of the webpage.

Runs Mini TV.

Opens the Internet settings and control menu.

Expands the web browser to the full screen.

  • To return to the original size, select the Exit full screen button which appears when you point the Magic Remote Control's pointer to the top of the screen.

Closes the web browser.

Notes for Using the Internet

  • The web browser supports up to Flash 11. This Smart TV does not support technologies that are affected by the platform, such as ActiveX.

  • The web browser only runs the plug-ins installed on your Smart TV.

  • The web browser may not display image formats other that JPEG, PNG and GIF.

  • The web browser may close if your Smart TV does not have sufficient memory.

  • Since the web browser uses built-in fonts, some web content may not be displayed properly.

  • The web browser does not support the uploading or downloading of files or fonts.

  • The web browser on your Smart TV may function differently from the web browser on your PC.

  • The web browser may not play some content smoothly.
