Premium services provide access to a variety of content, including new movies, popular TV shows, and social networks. You can select and use premium services without installing them on your Smart TV.

Premium services may differ based on your country of residence or TV model.

Using Premium Services

Some premium services include paid content. To use paid premium services, you must log in to your LG TV account and pay for the service. You can immediately use free premium services without logging in to your LG TV account.

  • The payment method may differ based on the premium service.

  • Some content has a fixed period of use or number of uses. Before you purchase any content, be sure to check its period of use or the number of uses it includes.

  • You can check your payment history for premium services in My Page > Payment Inquiry.

Notes for Using Premium Services

  • Service providers may modify or delete premium services to better suit their circumstances or to enhance the service.

  • If you have questions about a premium service or want to learn more about it, refer to the website of the service provider.

  • LG Electronics is not liable for the information or content contained in premium services.

  • LG Electronics is not liable for suspensions of premium services that arise due to the circumstances of the service providers.

  • You must connect your Smart TV to a network to access premium services.

  • We recommend an Internet connection speed of 4.0 Mbps (minimum: 1.5 Mbps) to properly stream premium services.

  • Your Internet connection may cause the premium service to not play smoothly. If your Internet connection is slow or unstable, contact your Internet service provider (ISP).

  • Premium services may include content that is inappropriate for minors, so parents and guardians need to exercise caution.

  • You cannot delete premium services.

  • You must log in to your LG account to access some premium services.

Adding Premium Services to MY APPS

You can add frequently used premium services to MY APPS for easy access.

To add a premium service to MY APPS, perform the following steps:

  1. Select Smart Home () > Premium.

  2. Select the Add To My Apps button.

  3. Select a premium service to add to MY APPS.

  4. Select the Done button. A window appears to confirm that you want to add the service to My Apps.

  5. Select the OK button to add the premium service to MY APPS.

Displaying Premium Service Information

You can select the Option button at the bottom of the screen to check the version information for
premium services or initialize premium services.

  • Premium Version

    Displays the version information for the premium service.

  • Deactivation

    Blocks automatic log in to the premium service.

  • Initialization of Premium

    Initializes the data related to the premium service.

If an error occurs while updating a premium service, initialize the premium service.
