Establishing a Wired Network Connection
A wired network connection is established through a LAN cable that connects your Smart TV to a LAN port or a wired/wireless router.
To connect your Smart TV to a network through a LAN cable, perform the following steps:
Connect the LAN cable to the LAN port on the back of your Smart TV.
Select
Smart Home () >
Settings >.
Select
Network Connection .Select the
Start Connection button.Select the
Complete button to establish the network connection.
To connect your Smart TV to a wired network, you must connect the LAN cable to the LAN port on the back of your Smart TV.
To establish a wired connection through a router, connect the LAN cable to the router and your Smart TV.
Wired Network does not appear in the network list if the LAN cable is not connected.
Setting Up a Wired Connection Manually
You can set the IP address, DNS, and other options manually when you connect to the network.
To establish a wired connection manually, perform the following steps:
Connect the LAN cable to the LAN port on the back of your Smart TV.
Select
Smart Home () >
Settings >.
Select
Network Connection .Select the
Start Connection button.Once the connection is established, select the
Other Network List button.If your Smart TV is not connected to the network, select the
Manual Setup button.
Select the
Manual Setup button.Select the
Wired button to open the network information screen.Enter the desired IP information.
Auto Input : the IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS server information is entered automatically.Manual Input : you must enter the IP address, subnet mask, gateway, and DNS information manually.
Select the
OK button to establish the network connection.
