Time Machine II

The Time Machine II function allows you to record the program you are currently watching or schedule a program for your Smart TV to record. You can record a program easily using the Magic Remote Control.

The Timeshift function of Time Machine II allows you to rewind to any part of the program you have missed.

The functions of your remote may differ depending on your region.

Setting Up Time Machine II

Wheel (OK) > Option

To set up Time Machine II, follow these steps:

  1. While watching a program, press the Wheel (OK) button on the Magic Remote Control to open the Progress Bar at the bottom of the screen.

  2. On the Progress Bar, select Option to open the Time Machine II settings window.

  3. Select the item you want to configure.

    • Recording Quality: Configures the recording quality for videos. The recoding time may vary depending on the quality of the video.

    • Timeshift: Configures the Timeshift function that allows you to rewind live programs.

    • Auto deleting: Configures when to automatically delete videos on Time Machine II's USB device. Protected videos are exempt from automatic deletion.

    • USB Device Initialization: Initializes the USB device connected to your Smart TV and formats it so that it can be used for Time Machine II. This deletes all of the data stored on the USB device.

Using Time Machine II

You can press the Wheel (OK) button on the Magic Remote Control at any time to use various Time Machine II functions.

  • REC

    Immediately starts recording the program you are currently watching.

  • Schedule

    Schedules a program to record or view at a certain time.

  • Play

    Plays a recorded program.

  • Timeshift

    Rewinds the program you are currently watching.

The Wheel (OK) button on the Magic Remote Control may perform different functions depending on your region.

You can also use the Time Machine II function in conjunction with other Smart TV functions.

  • Search

    You can search for programs and record, schedule to record, or schedule to watch them.
